Welcome to the Newburyport Entrepreneur – CPA on the Street. In this series I travel around town and visit with other entrepreneurs and small business owners to find out if they love Newburyport as much as I do! The goal of the series is to provide educational and fun information directly from the business owners themselves.
I grew up playing hockey, unlike founder and player coach Christian Sava of the Port City Pappys, Newburyport’s own over 40 men’s lacrosse team. Christian grew up in Connecticut and went to the Gunnery where lacrosse was king. It was Christian’s brilliant idea to start a team here in Newburyport and get guys back into the sport who may not have played it since high school or college! A few of us had never picked up a stick before, including myself, and I certainly have a lot of work to do! I am loving every minute of the competition, and look forward to more games with the Pappys.
