A friend asked me this recently.  
Eaglerock is an actual place. It’s a rock, not all that far off the coast from Swampscott, MA.
Back when I was thinking of a hundred other names for my business, I heard that name — Eaglerock — and I knew it would stick.
In Eaglerock, we have two images that make up a picture of true empowerment. There is the graceful and dignified bird, the symbol of our country. And there is the rock that has not been moved in thousands of years.
And on that rock, the eagle stands sentry above the waters of the Atlantic.
In these volatile economic times, it’s important to take every measure to be empowered in your financial life. Stress and panic are not good for your health, and they only impair good decision making.
Financial planning is not always about flying. Often, it’s about being grounded. And as an LPL financial planner, it always goes back to education. In bad times, it’s what you have to hold onto. In good times, it’s what tells you when to fly.
Eaglerock: to me, it’s the juncture of grace and solidity, the place a majestic bird returns to, a place of balance, protection, and possibility.
